Guest guest
Hi Everyone, and many thanks for your advice. Well I emailed Dr Ponsetti with photos, he did reply!! Wow!! And confirmed what you all thought, my daughters foot is Atypical and that is why the casts can fall off. Also spoke to another UK doctor who said it was just a fluke that my doc was on leave. That my doc was prob the 1st to start Ponsetti in UK and that they are very good. So that put my mind at rest. Anyway my consultant came back and we have had two casts which stayed on and her foot looks much better. A big relief after 3 in a row slipped completly off. I know my daughter foot is a little tricky, but my consultant is very confident he can put her foot right. So now alot happier. (Maybe the other person doing the casts whilst he was away wasnt experienced enought for Atypical Talipes.) So looks like my daughters Ponsetti treatment is going to be ok. Thanks for putting my mind at rest, as it was a very stressful 3wks. Julz and Aurora 8wks
