Guest guest
Hi We are new to this wonderful list. We have just started our nine year old autistic son on a GFCF diet. had a severely restricted diet - Cheese muffins, cheese flavoured Quavers (corn chips) and milk chocolate-thats the lot! He drinks pineapple juice mixed with water and vitamin supplements. We are now on day 8 and except for a small mouthful of GFCF chocolate cake on day 6 he has taken no other solids. We have made GFCF alternative to his regular foods which he is determined not to eat. He is drinking about 1.5 litres of pineapple juice with water, vitamins and minerals and we are including cod liver oil and primrose oil. Does anyone have experience of children going long periods of time without solids? We would appreciate any feedback or advice. Keep up the good work.
