OT Head Banging HELP!

I've been giving the Melatonin with Magnesium before going to bed at

night, but he is still waking 4-5 times a night. When he does wake up he

doesn't get out of bed but instead bangs his head or takes his fist and hit

himself in the forehead or chin. What can I do? My poor boy is hurting

himself possibly to get back to sleep. I've thought about getting him those

children's classical music CD's to soothe him at night. Is there something

else I could do? He did get a Junior (from Veggie Tales) glow doll for

Christmas and he sleeps with him every night. I told him when he wakes up to

squeeze Junior and hear him sing God is Bigger Than The Boogie Man (

has lots of fears). Junior also says " I'm not scared " and would say

" I'm not scared either " but for some reason lately it doesn't seem to be

working anymore. He's back to the head banging and hitting himself. Please

HELP! It breaks my heart.
