I just received a fabulous flyer from Prestonwood Baptist Church....I gave them

a call and they are calling me back.

Their website is www.prestonwood.org Let me know if anyone besides me is

interested in starting a special families class there. They seem to be very

receptive of the idea and I think it's in a great central location for Northern

Dallas folks.

I'm thinking a big classroom with parents and kids at first and then we can work

out taking turns for doing other church activities.

They called me back. They are very willing to work with us, they already have a

big room that has it's own bathroom with adult changing tables...It sounds like

they already have many special needs kids and adults....Also they have

" hospitality rooms " where there is a T.V. so you can watch the service while we

conduct dome type of class. AND, (sorry it is last minute) tomorrow is Special

Needs Sunday! As I understand they will be focusing on trying to recruit more

people to be involved. If one or more of you want to go on a fact finding

mission with me, email me, and we will set up a time to meet. ........laurie
