Guest guest
I cannot seem to get my husband to understand that this gfcf diet is not something we can choose not to do. Does anyone know what would have happened to an autistic child who had very highly abnormal levels of gluten and casein ( normal levels 0-100/ child's levels 6500 and 6200) if the child was not put on the gfcf diet? What would happen to the child, if anything, if we did not know that the gluten and casein levels were extremely high in the child's blood, and we continued to give the same foods to them. Would they eventually have a bad reaction (allergic reaction) or would they just keep going in the same manner they have been all along? I need to know. I am not sure how to answer my husbands questions about this. The Bridge Center for Autism told us it is important that we do this diet. It is very hard to do the diet, without my husband doubting that we are doing the right thing and whether we should continue, but adding that on top of the diet makes it even harder. Please help!!!
