Guest guest
Laurie, There have been times in the past that I have actually stopped breathing and woke up feeling like someone was sitting on my chest. Then there were a few times I woke up, thought everything was fine and went to take a breath and couldn't...it felt like my chest was going to explode. The ER doctors at the same time thought it was pleurosy, but Dr. S. said it was a strong possibly it was due to MITO and my lungs being weak. This is what I have and I do so much better with my CPAP. Give yourself time to get use to it. Take it off when it bothers you and try to build up your time.
