Guest guest
Hi Judy my name is Dolores ,I am 69 years old, I also am relatively new, still very awkward as to what to post, what posts to answer and what types/tidbits of info to share. I worked with computers for the almost 20 years at my lost job, I was an adjustment analyst for two of the Fiscal Agents that processed Kansas Medicaid, my tenure included changing fiscal agents from EDS (the company Ross Perot founded) to Blue Cross when they were the low bidder on he Medicaid contract. I went back to EDS in 2002 after they were awarded the contract again and managed to contine working until I could not go any longer and had to leave my job February, 2004. I was on short term disability until August and am now classified as a non-working employee so that I can maintain my company benefits (primarily my Cigna inusrance) this is a lifesaver to me as I am able to afford my medications. I still have problems with a home computer as when I was working the screens that I used daily simply were there when I logged on. I do a lot of digging trying to find info about this strange condition and I find info but I figure it is all old new to the others (?), so I just print it off, attempt to absorb it and file the hardcopy away. My Dad did a lot of moving around starting when I was in the fifth grade and I have always had a difficult time trying to find a way to fit as in the fifth grade I went to five schools in four states I am very sure that there are others (like us) who just are not completely computer literate, one nice thing though when I find myself in a " mess " I call my friend Gopalla, he and his wife (Hema) are from India and are really nice people, plus Gopala is computer programmer.
