Guest guest
Actually I was told ritalin is gf/cf but does contain lactose. I had the University of Kansas contact the manufacturer of all my kids medications, and have letters from all of them stating their gf/cf status. This was a couple years ago. I do not wish to throw fuel on the fire here, but simply state what my personal experience is. We have recently switched to Concerta, which is methylphenidate in a new slow release form. I have not checked the gf/cf status of this medication yet. He takes Creon 10 which will clean up any stray peptides. The difference in our son has been remarkable though. He has no more major social difficulties at lunch time at school due to meds wearing off. Check it out. For most people ritalin is much more effective than Adderall. Adderall is just much smoother, although it didn't touch my kids hyperactivity - at any dose.
