Okay, I deleted the original msg, but someone said the pharmacist told her

that AS Gold was unavailable due to the reformulation to remove PPA.

I think the pharmacist misunderstood you. It is AS COLD that had PPA. AS

Gold is just the fizzy stuff and has no drugs in it. That is why you can't

sub regular AS, it has aspirin or something like that and I wouldn't sub AS

Cold for Gold either.

I think AS Gold is hard to find on the shelf, its kind of one of those old

fashioned medicines. If your pharmacist gets confused emphasize you want

Alka Seltzer with no drugs in it, just the sodium bicarbonate.
