Apraxia and DMG?

I met with my son's speech therapist today to ask her how my son

was doing. He is 3 1/2 and still has no speech. She feels

that he has Apraxia and I was wondering if anyone else has

encountered this. How does DMG or TMG play a role in this. I have

heard my son say a couple of words like " hug " , " cookie " , and " all

done " . She also stated that if he didn't have such difficulty with

his speech that she might even classify him as high functioning or

Asperger Syndrome (he has been diagnosed PDD). I took my son off of

his DMG/TMG because I wasn't seeing any real progress. Should I put

him back on? What should I do? Thanks for listening!

Sincerely,

B
