Guest guest
That must be real discouraging. Being able to drive is being given freedom. I would like to make a suggestion. You might want to ask the doctor about a professional driving evaluation. These folks look at all the things that the doctor cited and see if there are accomodations that can be made to the vehicle to made it possible to drive safely. These folks are often occupational therapists with special certification in doing driving evals. I had one before the purchase of my last van. They may agree with the doctor, but then you will have this additional piece of paper. Clonic is stiffening, similar to myoclonus, but often lastiing longer. It can be seizure activity or other things. Good luck! I will be thinking of you. Guest guest
--- Wow, I have all of those issues and never thought of it keeping me from driving. My reflexes are at a 4 not as brisk as yours are and I do not have many myoclonic jerks. I dont always have clonus.I feel fortunate!!! I am sorry you are not able to drive. Laurie has a great suggestion regarding a driving evaluation.
