Guest guest
My 5 year-old son has been GFCF for about 6 weeks. Feeding him has always been very difficult but extremely so now. I'm very frustrated! He does not eat things like muffins, pancakes, non-yeast bread (yeast really flips him out). The only way I can get him to try something new is wrestling him to the ground. He definately has sensory problems here. Haven't figured out yet if it smell, taste, texture or all. He hasn't started his OT yet they are still evaluating him. He now eats potato, and corn chips, juice, Dari Free, spaghetti (when the spirit moves) lollipops, bologna but have cut that out due to yeast and nitrates-will not accept non nitrate bologna-looks different. Last week made him pizza. Seemed a big hit. Won't eat it again. I feel I'm cooking and cooking with no result. Does anyone have any suggestions and those who have done OT for oral sensory problems what have you done? Thanks in advance for any help
