We started my younger son (6) on this diet 6 days ago!

He is doing great! NO crying, NO screaming! I have a Celiac child, so we do

have many yummy GF foods in the house, but he doesn't like them all. He

really hasn't had any negative reactions at all. He is eating exactly what

his brother is eating for the most part, so he doesn't have to see someone

else eating, But I was thinking that he would have a BAD Physical reaction??

He is not Autistic in the way you think about it. He is more like PDD,

ADHD,Aspergers, He has SENSORY INTEGRATION DYSFUNCTION,severe(Has been much

improved with therapy), so he is probably under the Autism umbrella, he goes

to Neuro testing soon!

I am curious why he is not reacting?????

He is Hypoglycemic and when we cut his sugar intake down, he went

NUTS!!!!!!!! Like an addict, he begged, screamed etc.... On day 7, he calmed

down and acted better than he had in his whole life, we still limit sugar.

Parents just don't realize what an effect it has. My kids have never had

Soda or a whole candy bar. Juice is the worst thing that parents could give

a 2 or 3 year old, yet I see drink box after drink box everywhere I go. I

don't think one ped. tells a mom to give their kid WATER!!!!!! Anyway......

I am not seeing anything even remotely like this! Is it normal to have a

delayed craving or reaction(Bad reaction I mean???) I have been bracing

myself for it! I am assuming that he first Pizza he sees at school will be

hard, or something like that, but that is different(More wanting to be like

everyone else, not craving it)

Any thoughts would be great!

Thanks, Laurie Renke
