Guest guest
Thank you , , Everyone, I think my symptoms are probably the worsening of the mito disease. I've been having the arm pain and palpitations for a while, but the other night it was so much worse. I've never had a panic attack before but I was calm before this happened, just watching TV and lying on the couch. I know my muscles are getting very weak and walking is becoming a major problem. I don't think it will be long before I need a wheedchair or scooter to get around. This worries me because I don't know how I will be able to care for my horses. Besides my chidldren they are my greatest joy and have been a lifesaver for me. I am now (50) and began having health issues at about 34. I have known about the chance of Huntington's affecting me since I was 17 and we first learned this was what was in my mothers family. Four years ago we learned of the mito. I have always handled the possibility of what could happen very well but I do admit as I have gotten older the fear has grown Sometimes I read the post on this list and am amazed how closely they resemble something that is happening to me. I have learned so much and very much appreciate everyones thoughts and opinions. When I start feeling sorry for myself I soon realize there are others facing the same difficulties. Thank you all, Debbie
