Hi Jan,

Welcome back, sure hope the baby turns for her mom. We've been pretty

much the same here, new people showing up all of the time, the usual

good and bad doctors, and the great " cheese " thread. (oh, the power of

cheese!)

Hello All,

Finally we got our computer up and running. It has been down for

the past couple of months. I got the results of my sleep study. I

have severe sleep apnea. I quit breathing or had hypoapnea's 114

times. I average 82 times an hour. When I am on my back it goes up

to 90 times an hour. The tech showed me the tracings and it was

amazing. I have hardly been breathing at all at night. I kind of

figured that was happening since it happens during the day too.

Just not as much.

They put in an urgent order for a cpap and I got it 5 days later.

(Actually a c-flex. Does any one else have one of those?) I have had

it a week and have had a lot more energy. The first couple of

nights were an adjustment, but since then I have slept good. One

thing that was wierd is that my O2 only went down to 92%. The tech

was amazed that it stayed that high. She figured it should have

been in the 30's for as much as I was breathing. Anyway it is good

to be back.
