Guest guest
Just one quick comment here. Dr Friedman sure must have changed. She is the one who told me that Mito was nothing to worry about since it is only in " one gene. " She then prescribed a med for my daughter who was with me for Mito appointment that day. That drug was contrary to a metabolic disorder but unfortunately, my daughter had to suffer the complications of the med before we realized that it wasn't a good med for a Mito patient. Dr Simms is an excellent choice at MGH. Thanks for helping me remember the name of my favorite doctor at MGH. Interesting that she's now in San Diego. I wonder what she is practicing there. Guest guest
HI Alice, OH MY!! That is so ODD... see, as I said in my first post, it is amazing the difference we can have with the SAME doctors!! She went to San Diego, because her husband got a job there, he had been working in NYC & coming home on weekends. I believe she got a job, but for the life of me, I cannot remember what! Dr. Simm's comes across as extraordinarily brash to me, she made what was essentially a joke about my fatigue level & how she was tired too... let's just say I didn't appreciate it! McQeen is her Nurse Practitioner & really is the only reason I stay there!! Chris In a message dated 3/9/2005 6:17:45 A.M.
