Guest guest
Tell Janet I wish her the best and perhaps they can find a solution to her side effects. I am thinking of her. Tell her to keep the healing powers going. Ingrid > Janet will see Dr. Mullan today for a followup after the last chemo > cycle. Guest guest
Ingrid, Jolene, Our trip to Doctor Mullane provided us with information more than good news about me. The nurse did my blood work and flushed the porta cath, her name is Barbara. They prefer to flush less often, as long as two months in between. The blood work was for the ct scan that is scheduled for July 1rst. We should know witnin the following week more about me. Blood pressure is still pretty high and that will monitor that more closely. Other than that feeling better outside of the neuropathy. Larry took a few pictures of Liz our daughter and me in our parkway....lots of flowers are blooming and he will post them later. Hope you are all fine Ingrid. You know we are praying for you and everything is going turn out okay. You have been our cheerleader and it is our turn to cheer you up through this rough time. Guest guest
Janet, That is good news that we do not have to have our ports flushed as often. They need to get your blood pressure under control. That is for sure. I am Praying that your ct scan turns out clean. I am so glad you are feeling better. The neuropathy will go away eventially. Just going to take time. Enjoy yourself and celebrate life. Your healing is well on its way. I will let you know what happens after I get home again. Thank You for your support. Guest guest
Larry, Have faith - the neuropathy, I think, will go away; I think mine took 5-8 weeks total. I forget specifically how long it took for me, but I remember thinking that it was going to be chronic, and it wasn't. Best of luck at the follow up. Janet is truly a good story and an inspiration to us all. Joe > Janet will see Dr. Mullan today for a followup after the last chemo > cycle.
