Thanks, Lora Ann. I'm 51 years old and raising a beautiful 2-year old

girl, whose mother didn't want her. I've had her since she was 4

months old and love her like she was mine.

As far as we know, my mother had no side effects from radiation. She

finished it 3 weeks ago and we are waiting for the doctor to schedule

a pet scan. She won't talk about the cancer and neither will the rest

of the family. They act as if she had the flu and now she's over it,

so forget about it. I worry that the doctor doesn't check her often

enough. After she had her first surgery on 1/04, he didn't check her

for a year and the cancer was back. She had the second surgery 3/05

and he hasn't scheduled any tests yet. She trusts her doctor and won't

see another one, so I will just worry and wait.
