Guest guest
ok, as promised. Day 10... of the FOLFOX6 ... Cramps are Gone. Wet farts are GONE. Nausea is Gone. But I am perspiring like crazy. And it is not my normal body smell. Also, I felt the tingles... It was not what I thought at all. It was more like PRICKLES... Like I had just handled a cactus plant and had millions of little thorns in me. It lasted a long time. Also to button my shirt was like a major NERD factor. I am going to see if I can petition a few organizations to help me support my boys while I call off work. I have used up my sick bank, and other government sources. We will make it though! I had a dream about Pricsilla's letter to the president. I think we should all send lots of mail to the white house. I saw us all at a table testifying in front of Congress!! I know... it was a dream... Jay
Guest guest
Jay I am glad you are feeling better, I have been thinking about you a lot and wondered if indeed you removed the pump yourself in the end or did you go to the nurse because when my husbands pump is removed they flush it with a cleaner, or thats how it translates to me. I dont know about the support system in USA and hope you can locate a group to help out. in Spain > ok, as promised. Day 10... of the FOLFOX6 ... Cramps are Gone. Wet farts are GONE. Nausea is Gone. Guest guest
Hey Jay, sounds like you are hanging in there... Those wet farts are bummer, glad they are gone. Hoorah for the cramps and nausea too. Hope the sweats are gone as well. The tingles can be prickles too.. When I drink something it takes slushy but really isn't. Got my blood work done this morning.. In and out - great. Kris drove me in and just waited in car.. Cool. Coming out out of doldrums today. Yesterday was a really whoozy day, at least today feel human again. Will putter, have wash to do and some crafts I can dabble with a bit without ruining them. LOL... Sure be glad when it is pay day again and I have some cash... HOpe you can find some support for the boys to help out. If you are not working can get them on medicaid maybe? Don't feel bad, I can handle buttons but feeling so wobbly, my house us a cluster mess so easy to stumble on something and fall. I sure don't need that. Well this too shall pass. That is a great dream.. But afraid our president it too worried about the war... I guess we could emphasize that some of his troops have colon or other cancer and sure can't help the war effort if they are home getting chemo, need to get the healthy... And he has one of his cronies now trying to tone down the liberalism on PBS.. Like don't we have important things to do... Too much spin on everything and not enough actual effort going in to end this bit of chaos. Sorry I had to vent... Some days just gets to be too much to shut up about it. If I offended anyone sorry... Jolene
Guest guest
Yes, I pulled the needle out myself. I had to first disconnect the pump, and then flush with a syringe full of SALINE, then a 1/4 of a syringe of HEPERIN. Then I had to hold onto the port with one hand, and then pull the needle STRAIGHT out. It was a long needle. I then put a little bandaid over the pin prick. Thanks for asking about me too. What is your husbands name again, and your statistics? Also what part of Spain?? That is where my ancestory is from. Pure Spanish... Cabeza deBaca .... Please stay in touch! Guest guest
Damn, you're good! When they handed me the saline and heperin for a " just in case " scenario, I think I closed my eyes and said I would call 911!!! Your my hero!!
