Guest guest
Lately Phil is not sleeping well. His back pain continues and the pain meds keep it from being excruciating but he basically hovers around a 4 on the 1-10 scale. The heat has also been getting to him and he complains of it making him short of breath. Currently it is already 88 at 8 am. We have air conditioning in the house but the church is NOT air conditioned. He is drinking and likes the Aquafina flavored waters. Just wish I could find a way to help him be more comfortable. He is also stressing out over a few malcontents at church which can't be helping his ulcer much. I had words Sunday (after services) with one who is just a first rate witch not pretty but if I had acted on how I felt at the moment well...... Pettiness just drives me nuts. Hand me the Paxil folks 'cause I'm not as calm cool and collected as I may come across! In truth I worry about him quite a bit. Still we have been quite fortunate and so blessed. Hopefully all will continue to go well. Narice
Guest guest
Sorry to hear Phil is not sleeping well, and the pain is no fun that is for sure. Does he have a fan he can blow on himself when he is preaching? Not perfect but something... Our church at home was not AC'd either. Don't know if they changed that or not, been a long long time since I was up in ND for church services. We had alot of windows and good cross vent so that helped some... Always some malcontents, Definitely not good for his ulcer... Shame some folks forget that they are christians when they come to church... Devil working in them to cause discontent... I know what you mean about pettiness... Well here is come cyber paxil anyway... Take care and as always remembering you and Phil and family in my prayers. Lord's Blessing will continue and this trial shall pass... Big big hugs Jolene flipper759@... wrote: > Lately Phil is not sleeping well. Guest guest
Dear Narice, My heart goes out to both of you. Pettiness in church members is so common. Maybe it is the one place they feel safe enough to be who they really are. I am sure Phil knows this...doesn't help his discomfort much. Continued prayers coming to you folks. I went to the doc/surgeon for a check up yesterday and he was really please at how this was healing. Me too.
