Good news.

My brother's Surgery was Monday, the Dr. could not find any tumor in

the area of concern.

I'm still wondering why his PET scans shows this one spot all the

time. (any thoughts?)

He is scheduled to get more scans in 3 months.

God Bless.

I had a spot show up last year in pet scan. They were able to biopsy without

doing surgery and it was not cancer but scar tissue or fiberous they said. That

same spot showed up again this year in a pet scan so I see the oncologist Friday

and hope the results are same as last year. Mine is right on the staple area of

the colon and I wonder if it has anything to do with the staples?

The only surgery he had was 2 years ago to remove tumor from colon.

I'm not sure how close the spot that shows up on the scan to where he

had his earlier surgery, but I will ask the docs.

Thanks.

I am a nervous wreck tonight, well have been but worse tonight:) I see

oncologist in the morning. Of course we have severe storms predicted which adds

to my anxiety. I know I won't find out to much tomorrow but maybe he will give

me some encouragement. My spot is right where the staples are and I am hoping

that it is scar tissue like it was when they biopsies last year same place.

I am with Deb. Praying it is just scar tissue. Relax.... worrying is

stressful... serves no purpose. Hugs Jolene
