Guest guest
The drug only has a number, not a name. It is CX-3543 developed by Cylene Pharmaceuticals, a new company created to market this line of drugs. You need to have a degree in genetics to understand the stuff on their web site, but in a nut shell, they think they have found a way to turn off the master oncogene that makes cells cancerous. http://www.cylenepharma.com If thing go according to schedule I will be the second person in the trial. It is a phase one trial to determine Maximum Tolerable Dose (MTD) and Dose Limiting Toxicity (DLT). Of course, we'll also be checking to see if it actually works . One good thing, there will be one person ahead of me by two weeks, so I will have a warning in case something bad happens. But, nothing will go wrong .. go wrong .. go wrong. -joe- > Good to see you here again. Do you know what drug they'll be trying? > One thing that has given Phil more hope is when the pharmacist spoke to him > and told him that even though he's had FOXIL and Avastin should he max on > those there are plenty of other things out there.
