Guest guest
Does anyone know how much a colonoscopy runs? I don't have insurance right now but I'm still going to get one instead of waiting, even if I have to pay cash for it.
Guest guest
I'm sure someone here will be able to tell you, but I don't know. I do know that if you will tell them right up front that you don't have insurance, they will probably do it cheaper:) nancy Colonoscopy Does anyone know how much a colonoscopy runs? Guest guest
I have heard some figures but I won't quote. Is not cheap that much I can tell you. Tell doc or person who handles financing and if they know you don't have insurance may cut you a deal. And someone else might come up with some better suggestions yet as well. Good luck.. It is worth is surely.. Jolene sftfemme@... wrote: > Does anyone know how much a colonoscopy runs? Guest guest
also know prices are negotiable. Insurance companies probalby pay about 700 bucks and if you negotiate... all hospital prices are negotiable... you may be able to get it for the price the insurance company pays. Of course, they like cash pay patients because they can rape them for cash every time with no paperwork and waiting for payment. *Evil Grin* did you ever think of borrowing someone's health insurance card with a PPO and claiming to be that person to get the test... ... If you had a cooperative friend??? Just an idea.... Too bad we send billions in overseas aide but can't take care of our own citizens health.... to me what is more important Americans at home vs the rest of the world. Health care should be a RIGHT not a priviledge! Nonnie Re: Colonoscopy C-Scope can run anywhere from $800 to $2,000. Check out clinical trials for prevention and detection and see if there are any in your area. Then the screening would be free. Also, check with your local health department to see if they have a screening program. Priscilla A.
