Guest guest
Does anyone know how much a colonoscopy runs? I don't have insurance right now but I'm still going to get one instead of waiting, even if I have to pay cash for it.
Guest guest
C-Scope can run anywhere from $800 to $2,000. Check out clinical trials for prevention and detection and see if there are any in your area. Then the screening would be free. Also, check with your local health department to see if they have a screening program. Priscilla A. Guest guest
Too true Nonnie. It is difficult to get them to negotiate because it makes up for the ridiculous pricing they agree to just to be able to work with the major insurance companies. Stand firm and point out that if you had insurance you would pay a much lower rate and SO therefore the hospital/doctor/whoever CAN do it for LESS if they wanted to. Priscilla A.
