Regarding our system here in the states... It is wierd when you look at most

countries in this world, and from reading the posts it is harsh. But I think

with Priscilla's help and the support from this group we will see change.

Today I just got in from Japan, and got to talk to several people on the plane

who were wearing the Lance bracelet. It is comforting to talk to other people

sharing similiar stories. I encourage everyone to wear the yellow band.

10th treatment! Wow! That is an accomplishment!! And I know the feeling! ...

In fact the thought of that horrible smell has me freaked out! I think next

round I will drive up to the mountains and relax.

Your Ginger Tea is on its way...

Daily update: wow... I am still here! I do not feel as blue as I used to,

thanks to Zoloft. I had to dose up the Immodium and the Compazine for the

flight home. Now, I feel like the Tin Man in the Wizard of Oz... That metalic

feeling in my mouth and the feeling that I need a few shots of grease for the

metalic joints...

Sorry to hear you are having to give up work for a while.

I dont understand the system in the US but appears very harsh.

Mike is very foocused with the weight. He forces the food down at the

begining of each

meal and says that after the first few forkfulls the nausea abates for a

while.

Not only has he managed to maintain his weight, he has actually increased it.

Tomorrow is round 10 and he is not looking forward to going. Especially now

with such

hot weather. We have air con but really need some fresh air.

It rained for a few minutes the other day, hardly any water but tons of sand

from the

Sahara desert.

You now have a little fan club here with my Spanish friends and work

colleagues who ask

for daily updates.
