Sure hope you get some questions answered. I see mine on Tuesday. My primary called on Friday. Trying to get rid of the oxygen equipment they gave to me when I was in hosp. last. They told me over a month ago would take care of it (Lin Care), but never did. So then wrote another letter and said I would not pay anything until this was resolved. Had already told them I couldn't afford it... Said they would do financial statement on me. Well that didn't happen either. Thanks Jolene!!! I'm getting anxious now...I have my list so we can play 20 questions tomorrow...LOL Glenn now has a lump in his chest right above the stomach that he thinks is his breast bone...No way!! I think it's a hernia from all the pressure created by the fluid, etc. Hope he's right!!! (this time....LOL) I have no idea why I'm so anxious about tomorrow's visit....I think, ONCE AGAIN, it's just the NOT KNOWING!!! Will he try another chemo?? And, if so, will Glenn decide to try it...What kind of time are we talking about buying?? Will he say nothing more can be done?? Which Dr. will he agree with?? Surgery or No? What are the major symptoms of total liver failure, so we'll know?? We are soooo hoping we can enjoy a few trips or even many trips in the 5th wheel. With Glenn off chemo, he is starting to feel a lot better more of the time. If he didn't have the Ascites, he would feel really good. He's eating well most of the time, but still losing weight, b/c they are draining all the nutrients out of his body each week. He still very weak...no muscle mass at all. A friend in another group I'm on mentioned that her husb. was given some steroids to help build the muscles, with no side effects. I'll be asking Onc. about that tomorrow as well. And good luck to you on Tuesday!! Did you finish up chemo?? What now?? I guess you'll find out Tues., huh? Let us know!! Lots of hugs and prayers, Donelle Caregiver to Glenn
