Guest guest
Hello all. Can anyone shed some light on what may be going on here? I made the mistake of hastily having 9 amalgams removed within a week in 2005 (without full protection). This caused the 'petit mal' seizures I had been suffering for years to 'upgrade' to Tonic, Convulsive and latterly, complete blackouts. They are left-hemisphere, mercury-specific reactions (I believe) and are triggered by a variety of foods and supplements, especially those with Selenium and Sulphur. The worst of the no-warning blackouts have been caused by sublingual Methyl-B12 (3g), and anything with 'eugenol'. 2 EEG scans came back 'normal', of course! Doctors refer to my seizures with the prefix 'alleged', and have questioned the true origin of head/facial injuries! Dismissive stonewalling is a recurring feature with each one I visit, no surprise. 21 rounds of DMSA down, now up to 25 mg, which does seem to be progress. Breaks in between can be several weeks however, difficult to keep to program. Brain fog clears a bit during round, but seizures do still occur within dreams, waking up to visual / auditory hallucinations. Selenium seems to cause the greatest 'confusion' - its like a constant deja vu, which then intensifies to a partially conscious seizure, and culminates in a migraine type headache. Sulphur oriented seizures seem to be a lot more 'complete', and I feel somewhat better afterward. Suffice to say this is an extreme summary of events, but I would be grateful for any advice. Guest guest
Hello, I agree with dean. It's does probably come from the brain.... DMSA alone probably won't help you much. I think we have a long term ALA user here who had blackouts and seizures and greatly improved with ALA chelation. Read this message: http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/frequent-dose- chelation/message/8828 Many people report problems with the selenite selenium... > > Hello all. > Can anyone shed some light on what may be going on here? > I made the mistake of hastily having 9 amalgams removed within a week > in 2005 (without full protection). Guest guest
Hi, thanks for the replies. Although the dentist was not up-to-speed on proper removal protocol, or fully equipped, she did do galvanic testing and removed sequentially. The highest charged filling was also the smallest interestingly, at (I think) 251 millivolts (!) The 'electric' stomach pain/tension I had endured for years I felt literally switch off when that one came out. The right side of my head felt strangely 'lighter' too, and yes I did consider the possibility that these seizures were initiated by removal of current, or something along those lines. But its more than 30 months on. I think I may have inhaled considerable vapour / particulate, as the supposedly protective carbon filter mask (3 Micron?)I wore over my nose was incredibly difficult to breathe through. There were at least 8 occasions I recall where I took a deep, involuntary breath through my mouth - during drilling... It will be telling what effect ALA will have but I am incredibly nervous of trying it, having such dramatic reactions to the very supplements i am deficient in. The 'plan', if you could call it that, is to work up to a tolerance of at least 50mg of DMSA for a while before risking ALA. Havent done anything specifically about adrenals, though its good to note that the pre-seizure adrenalin rushes / burn-ups have reduced considerably over the last few chelation rounds. Its hard to know what to do for the best. It really does take a lot of mental energy to keep rationalising the 'crazy' thoughts/confusions away. " Its just the mercury... " Keep fighting eh Virago
