Guest guest
If you want to suggest nappies to her tell her to look at www.twinkletwinkle.co.uk Miranda sells a hugh range and has great advice. If you wanted to buy her some fitted nappies to start her off how about, 1x tots bots nappy and 1x daisy diaper nappy along with with a rikki or an air rikki wrap - all excellent nappies and wraps and good for containing new born squirty bottoms!! Guest guest
There's a new Imse Vimse organic terry nappy which I think'd be great - you can fasten it with nappy nippas, or simply use it in conjunction with a Bumpy wrap, in which case no need to fasten. It's cute - an advantage for a first-timer! It's amazingly absorbent. I won't tell you how long I've left it on Freya with unfettered access to juice, but it hasn't leaked yet. The only thing I would say is, Bumpy wraps - great for newborns but will tend to wick in the bigger sizes when the nappy is left on baby for longer, so get some nappy nippas too, as other wraps won't hold the nappy fastened. Or get some patterned muslins - they're great for newborn nappies and, if she doesn't take to cloth nappies, they're cute burp cloths, too. Any wrap will work with thes. You'd need boosters for absorbency, though. Vicki Portman http://www.plushpants.co.uk > What are the 'best' nappies and/or wraps for a newborn? Guest guest
I once dressed the 3 boys in matching Mr. Bump outfits when we went to Legoland. It was a Godsend, because we lost DS2 twice and each time he was returned to us promptly because staff recognised who he belonged to. Alison matching > outfits - mine are the same age apart.) Glad I'm not the only mother-of-boys who does this. I weakened in (Cribbs Causeway) last week and bought matching navy cotton outfits - and they were complimented all the day at the Christening we went to - even my hard to please Nana was impressed. I don't agree, think it looks so cute. I " almost " gave in to temptation in M&S buying shorts suits with waistcoats, but one in navy, the other in stone but couldn't take the risk of dh being horror struck, sigh........ Not sure my DH would notice that two outfits were the same especially if they were different colours! http://www.foxstitch.co.uk/
