Hi

I am doing just fine. Saw a onc doc yesterday and I am done with chemo.

I had talked to my doc the night before and he didn't anticipate any

problems, though we are waiting to see the scan on my lungs that will

happen on Friday afternoon. Then it is just check up appts for awhile,

will schedule a scope for Sept. One year from last one and if that one

is clean then every 2 years. So everything looks good we just will pray

that it continues so.. I want find a part time job, hopefully doing what

daughter Kris does, lunch room clerk. I can start by subbing for others

and then maybe get a position later on. So that means I have to

generate some sort of resumé, arrgghhh I hate those things... LOL...

Kris said she really didn't need one, but still have to figure out when

I worked where...LOL

How are you doing these days? Boy summer sure is upon us. Thought we

would get some showers the other day but it didn't happen. I can't

afford to water my lawn so just hope that it rains soon. Won't be long

and kids will be back to school again. Summer sure is going fast this

year. Hard to believe it has nearly been a year since I was diagnosed.

Am sure I am have mentioned it but over Labor Day am going to the Irish

Fest is KC, MO.. Can hardly wait. Son is taking me and paying for the

major expense. I just have to make sure I have money for CD's and good

food. LOL... I guess that is about the news from here.

Take care and God Bless, Hugs Jolene

Congratulations on finishing chemo!! I hope you were able to

celebrate in some small way. When I finished rad/chemo I felt a big

letdown because nobody else understood how big of a deal it was for

me.

Take care of yourself and let your body recover some. Hope you (and

I) get some rain soon. I have rainwater collection for my water and

I'm running really low. Had to order 2000 gallons today for delivery

or my clothes and my body would be getting really stinky in a few

weeks. :-)

Congrats again! Time for the happy dance!

Miracles happen!

Thanks Karima, I appreciate your taking time to send the message. Hope

you feeling better soon. I am lumbering around today with a bad back again.

I did something to mess it up again, drat. Finally took a shower, put

the massage on my back -- a real massage would be soooo much better and

some Bengay. Feels some better but really tight. I think I will get Kris

rub it down with bengay before I go to bed.

On another good note, we had rain today. Wonders never cease, course it

only rained cause I left my windows cracked a bit. LOL...

Take care and feel better soon. Hugs JOlene

Will be rooting for you and your treatments. Will hope for the best when

you do the radiation. Just remember drink lots of fluids, it helps a

whole bunch to stay hydrated during radiation. Thanks for good wishes...

I hope too that results from Friday will be good. Take Care and God

Bless Hugs Jolene
