Guest guest
Probably after to get an accurate reflection of what your body is doing right then. Since that is going to be the final exposure. You'll know what your endocrine systems is doing and how to help it before you begin chelation. > > I just have ordered a load of tests, thyroid, adrenal, etc. > > My last amalgam is due for removal on the 1st November, pending my > health status. > > Do I get these tests done before or after the last amalgam out? > > Sunshine >

The dental removal often throws your body in huge stress, and if you can get some adrenal and thyroid support sooner it will help you A LOT and make chelation MUCH EASIER from the onset. I have made the mistake of not treating adrenals and thyroid properly from the start. Please don't do it too :-) You can always do another test later. With the hair test, expect mercury to rise after removals. DeanSA

Sorry late reply but needed a holiday before last amalgam out tomorrow. Just try to forget it all, no newspapers, no TV, no health books, just me, myself and my family. Got all my adrenal tests, thyroid tests, testosterone, reverse T3, blood, saliva etc done today, ahead of tomorrows final removal which will no doubt challenge my health yet again. I have been taking my temp 3 times a day too & plotting the average on a graph, so I need to find out why it looks like one of those earthquake alert graph thingys. Very jagged and low. How do I go about finding out what the results mean? I have zero faith in normal doctors, so that is not an option, at least until I have a much better understanding of these things. Can anyone recommend some decent books? I have read one, but it recommended synthetic drugs which is not something I am willing to take. Natural remedies only. Can anyone recommend a good forum to post test results that could help?

Saliva and blood testing is more informative. > I have zero faith in normal doctors, so that is not an option, at > least until I have a much better understanding of these things. > > Can anyone recommend some decent books? Adrenal Fatigue: The 21st Century Stress Syndrome by Safe Uses of Cortisol by Jefferies, MD From Fatigued to Fantastic by Teitelbaum, MD (just a short section on adrenals and thyroid, but the whole book is relevant to many of our problems) I felt the same way about natural vs. synthetic for a long time. It really isn't a rational view, and I knew it but still had trouble kicking it. So I have tried some of everything - herbal, glandular, nutritional, and finally hormones. Acupuncture also helped me for a long time. I would say explore the options and try something. If acupuncture or herbal and nutritional approaches help you, that's great. They don't work for everyone, but you can try and see. > Can anyone recommend a good forum to post test results that could > help? I like the hormone information here: http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/HormonesandHealth-Naturally/?yguid=11673459 The archives has a lot of valuable information - search for Pat's posts on any topic of interest. --

Sunshine: yeah, i am having trouble kicking it too. too much bad advice, for too long, which caused too much needless pain, has left me with too much mistrust. hence the requests for book recommendations.
