Guest guest
The lowdown: First Dr. says basal cell carcinoma of the lower left eyelid. (Derm) Second Dr. and his partner think sebaceous cell carcinoma (occular plastics) Third Dr. that removed that cancer or whatever says it is an extreme infection, not cancer - He sent a biopsy out and will get results in two weeks; however, his initial path report was inflammation/granulation. I am at a loss now as to what to think. I believe it was a misdiagnosis from the occular plastic doc. I also have an appointment with an oncologist-hematologist because of having a low hematocrit-hemoglobin; however, I feel this referral to this doctor is the result of the endo knowing of a possible cancer. I'll probably cancer that. Please write back to me and give me your take on this. I had no idea doctors could botch up so much. Sincerely - Bonnie
Guest guest
Well docs alway consider worst possibilities at first. Always have to wait for the second opinion. Well be great if it isn't cancerous. Now you just have the endo to think about, maybe that will be nothing as well... Did you cancel it? Docs are only human... they can make mistakes too, hopefully not life threatening ones...
