If your thyroid hormones are normal but you have symptoms, then the problem lies at receptor level. How does taking thyroid hormone solve this? thanks Nicola PS - I am only just realising what effect thyroid hormone has on the liver. I have Gilberts syndrome (slow phase 2), which can involve liver pain.
