Mercury, Lead, muscular dystrophy??

I needed to run this by others, see if anyone has come across

information on it or had it.

My dad was told he had myotonic dystrophy. They ran dna and he does

not have it. However, his muscle biopsy showed dystrophy in the

muscle cells and his exam presents with myotonic muscle activity. So

now they are asking questions about what things he might have been

exposed too. What kind of chemicals. As you can guess, doctors are

mystified.

I think it's metals because that fits with all his other signs,

ailments and known past exposures. I am wondering, has anyone out

there come across any medical research that indicates long term Lead

can cause this..other than the Life Extensions website? Which I did

read, and indicates Lead for this.

I am prompting for them to request urine porphyrins. I know he has

mercury...he has a lot of amalgams. He also had a lot of Lead

exposure as a child and some as an adult. Worked around chemicals

too.

Any ideas or information is appreciated. You can email me so we

don't clog up the list with this. I am slowly working them towards

amalgam removal and chelation. However, they are older and have not

completely accepted that doctors don't know everything. I need

evidence...and a suggestion of testing that their specialist could

run. He is sick and has been for about 10 years, it just keeps

getting worse. Thanks in advance.
