Guest guest
The first thing my oncologist did was put me on FOLFOX (Fluorouracil, Leucovorin and Oxaliplatin) to start working on the cancer. In two months my lungs had cleared to the point that I no longer needed any asthma meds or supplemental oxygen. That was the magic for me. Since then I have been going through other chemo to try and get rid of the remainder of the cancer that infests my abdomen. Unfortunately, nothing is working. I'll start a clinical tril on the 25th of this month to see if a new investigational drug will help. Meanwhile, my lungs are clear and I feel good. I don't intend to let this beast win without a good fight. -joe- > > Jill; > > Yes, it was cancer. Yes, I have been taking chemo; but I have also > > been working all of the time.
