Guest guest
are you chelating yet and are you using dmps or dmsa... The reason i ask I was a week on dmps and it caused a lot of symptoms/problems. one of which was the new and somehat weird body smells. said dmps will chelate tissues/skin more than dmsa so this might be what was causing my " smell " ...but I am sure it (dmps) did something > > I have been having this underarm odor that will not go away. > Nothing stops it and it starts smelling within 3 hours of getting > out of the shower. Guest guest
My armpits have a pronounced smell of fenugreek when I am on a chelation round. I use ALA only. There is no source of fenugreek (no curry etc) in my diet, and it mostly goes away at the end of the round. One armpit always smells more than the other. I did have this before chelation but not as pronounced. It would get much stronger when I ate something with fenugreek in it. My father has the same armpit odor only if he eats something with fenugreek in it. > > I have been having this underarm odor that will not go away. Guest guest
My wife and I have noticed a correlation between chelation and underarm odor. It generally flares up right after a round. Over time it seems to have gotten better. --- topbrokersf topbrokersf@...> wrote: > > are you chelating yet and are you using dmps or > dmsa... > > The reason i ask I was a week on dmps and it caused > a lot of > symptoms/problems. one of which was the new and > somehat weird body > smells. said dmps will chelate > tissues/skin more than > dmsa so this might be what was causing my > " smell " ...but I am sure it > (dmps) did something > > > > > > > > > I have been having this underarm odor that will > not go away. > > Nothing stops it and it starts smelling within 3 > hours of getting > > out of the shower. Guest guest
Oh good ... we can all stink together. Yes I have the same issue ... and I am also ALA only. It is much stronger on round. And also one armpit more than the other. It was also strong right after each quadrant of fillings was removed. I have had my underarms skin scraped by a dermo during the worst of it (when I was breaking out in rashes because for the first time in years I was sweating like a normal person) and nothing. It's got to be the detox somehow, I think. > > I have been having this underarm odor that will not go away. Nothing > stops it and it starts smelling within 3 hours of getting out of the > shower. Guest guest
This is interesting, in an odd sort of way. I too noticed an underarm oder that I hadn't before, sort of smells sulphery (sp) like the DMSA. What's strange is that when I was younger I used to have underarm oder, but within the last 10 or so years I don't really get an underarm oder at all, didn't have to use an underarm deoderant. I just never smelt like I did when I was younger. Very strange. Mike > > I have been having this underarm odor that will not go away. It is there even right after a shower. I have noticed that any supplement, food, or drug that increases noradrenaline or dopamine really makes it stink worse. Very weird. Serotonin brings it down to almost nothing. I cannot make any sense out of that at all, and I doubt any naturopath or doctor could explain it either. It is such an odd smell I cannot find the words to describe it. I guess a sulfury tone might be kind of in the ballpark. But still, it is just not describable. It is not a body odor you've ever smelled on anyone else in your entire life anywhere. Very unique, very pungeant, and I find repulsive. OTC deodorant is useless on it. I use a natural deodorant made mostly of oils that helps the most, as it soaks up a lot of the smell. My best guess is that it has something to do with one or all of these things: Fungal overgrowth, such as candida. An overflowing burden of bodily toxins, from unknown infections or microbes. Something related to the liver...such as slow phase 2. Some damage done to the glands from mercury.

Guest guest
Just to add my 2 cents to all the odor talk... during the year after amalgam removal I had quite an odor... smelled sort of like sweat all the time. I wasn't chelating at the time. I took lots of baths everyday because of it. When I did do a lot of saunas, the towel that my sweat dripped on had quite an odor. I think it was my body putting a lot of sulfur in my sweat in an attempt to get rid of toxins. The good news is that it either stopped or I got used to it. No one in my house has complained anyway. Guest guest
-- Interesting.. Sure hope it goes away. I don't know what sulphur smells like but is a funny odor and also smell in discreet place. I am constantly cleaning and never had an odor like this. I have a small tumor on my arm and have been using DMSO but that is only occasionally and only place. I was delibertely poisoned and don't know for sure what it was but told was mercury poisoning. That keeps me wondering. I have had a hysterectomy also. - In frequent-dose-chelation , " " wrote: > > > Just to add my 2 cents to all the odor talk... during the year after > amalgam removal I had quite an odor... smelled sort of like sweat all > the time. It's funny you mention that because I just took some L-Tyrosine the past few days and it the smell has been much worse. What you describe is dead on. Thats so weird that this is so common among us yet unexplainable. I wonder if Andy would have any insight into why this is happening. I haven't had success with any of the natural deodorants I've been using. I'm going to try gold bond or something to absorb it. I think it also really started to be noticeable after amalgam removal. The only thing that seems to really be feasible is to wash my armpits with soap a couple times a day, cause I'm not willing to take that many showers. Especially Odd is that sometimes the odor seems to come mostly or all from the right armpit. I remember reading that this has something to do with the Thyroid. > > > > I have been having this underarm odor that will not go away. > Nothing > > stops it and it starts smelling within 3 hours of getting out of > the > > shower. Guest guest
I hit menopause about the time I got my last amalgam out. Whenever I had a hot flash the sweat had a terrible odor. After a few months the flashes remained but the odor left. I guess I provided my own private sauna. > > > Just to add my 2 cents to all the odor talk... during the year after > amalgam removal I had quite an odor... smelled sort of like sweat all > the time. I know the statement I'm about to make is not crucial to our list discussion, but even sick/toxic people need to laugh. A post-menopausal client told me recently, " I'm still HOT - it just comes in flashes now. " :-) DeanSA
Guest guest
One: If you had your amalgams out recently, your dumping metals and this makes us all smell different and " funky " . It can also cause yeast underarm.. Two: This would be a skunky smell not like regular BO. It's pretty pronounced and as you describe...you know somethings not right. Three: We found that washing your underarms with liquid Grapefruit seed extract helps. Make sure you are not using a deodorant with aluminum in it. The metals may further exaggerate the problem. Using natural deodorant will mean you have to apply it more than once a day. But using the GSE gets rid of the yeast and the majority of the smell. Four: We notice that when on dmsa our sweat smells more skunky do to dumping metals. Using a sauna where you can sweat a bunch then shower off helps reduce the all day sweating smell. As does reapplying your natural deodorant in the afternoon. If not on a round, this isn't a problem. We just watch for yeast overgrowth, sometimes this will cause underarm peeling, or burning, or itching along with the smell. > > I have been having this underarm odor that will not go away.
