Guest guest
HI p I had similir bad reaction to Probiotics when i started on them a year ago and attributed it to eitehr heavy yeasy/fungus/heavy metasl being stirred up by the good bacteria effect of probiotics my symptoms were physical and mental (anxiety, fatigue, head burning) aloe vera and mangosteen did same thing to me as i was using these to heal my gut..I aslo had to start very slowly on these and work my way up It got better as I cut the dosage and did intermittent treatments (on for a week and then off for a week) are your amalgams removed yet?? Huggins (I believe) says that dealing with yeast/candida problems while amalagams are still in is bad as yeast is created by the body/stomach to deal (encapsulate)the mercury...therefore if you get rid of the mercury, you are loosening up the mercury for redistribiution..Ido not know if this is the case, but it makes sense. I was doing anti yeast treatments before amalagm removal -- In frequent-dose-chelation , " per h " wrote: > > Hi all, > I wonder if anybody has any ideas or knowledge about what serious > worsening on probiotics means? > (mental, depression, aggression, circulation, fatigue) > > It is not due to a special brand, tried severeal. > Could it be due to a serious LGS with dysbiosis? > Bacterial translocation? > > Can it have something to do with heavy metals? Guest guest
Could they be helping reabsorb heavy metals that should be passing out? I'm wondering the same thing as I've upped my dose of probiotics and suspected that things are getting worse. Guest guest
First question, what is LGS? Second, I'm no expert on these gut issues, probiotics, etc., but I was wondering what kind of probiotics you are taking? I only had some GI testing done once a few years ago, but the doctor said that my acidophilus type bateria numbers where fine, but I was very low on the bifidum type, and needed to take a probiotic that included bifidum, not just acidophilus. So maybe an inbalance of the types of probiotics could possibly cause problems like these? Does this make sense to anyone?--------Jackie In frequent-dose-chelation Lynn Razaitis wrote: Could they be helping reabsorb heavy metals that should be passing out? If this is what you are experiencing, reducing the dose may help. Or you may need to stop for a while and then re-start with a lower dose. It takes some time to get over the die-off. Some don't tolerate dairy-based probiotics, so this is another thing to consider. > It is not due to a special brand, tried severeal. > Could it be due to a serious LGS with dysbiosis? > Bacterial translocation? > > Can it have something to do with heavy metals? If you have a leaky gut, I would make sure you try to address that by taking one or more of glutamine, DGL/licorice, arginine, glycine. Those are things Andy mentions for healing the gut. -- > regards > /P >

Agreeing with that probiotics can contribute to die-off, and that some people don't seem to tolerate the dairy-based probiotics. I have also read, and this is anecdotol so take it FWIW, that some people do not do well when combining different probiotics. I was able to make a lot of headway when I dealt with a bunch of gut problems at the same time. Knocking back the yeast (no sugar, fewer high glycemic carbs, no alcohol, plus yeast killers), lots of probiotics, upping the B vitamins, and dropping the foods I tested intolerant to. I haven't added glutamine, but it's on my list to order. M.
Guest guest
These sound like die off reactions. Yeast does nto just grow in the gut but in all the body. It is systemic and causes many symptoms. When you begin to kill it off, you will feel cruddy at first. Using low doses and slowly increase. Also, taking activated charcoal a few hours later can absorb some of the die off in the gut and reduce symptoms. If you are dairy intolerant, you need to find dairy free probiotics. I also treated yeast before removal...it made me feel better. I now can tell when the yeast comes back, because I these symptoms you list come back. > > HI p > I had similir bad reaction to Probiotics when i started on them a > year ago and attributed it to eitehr heavy yeasy/fungus/heavy metasl > being stirred up by the good bacteria effect of probiotics > > my symptoms were physical and mental (anxiety, fatigue, head burning) > > aloe vera and mangosteen did same thing to me as i was using these to > heal my gut..I aslo had to start very slowly on these and work my way > up > >
Guest guest
-No, they kill of the pathogens in your gut and repopulate it with healthy pathogens that keep the bad ones from overgrowing. Reduce your doses...don't up it if it's making you worse. You may wish to try a colon cleanse product too...to help wipe out some of the bacteria. -- In frequent-dose-chelation , Lynn Razaitis wrote: > > Could they be helping reabsorb heavy metals that should be passing out?
