Surgery is definately a go...

I met with the surgeon today. He went over EVERYTHING! I did alot of

research on this breast biopsy surgery and this surgeon confirmed everything

I already thought. I just needed to see those films and it is definately

something I have to do. The odds of it being cancer are likely 80 to 90%.

So tommorrow it is....

It is wierd...I am not even nervous right now...I think it is because I

covered all the bases and there should be absolutely no problems. AND the

surgeon agreed to me having it in writing as to the amount of tissue that

would be removed and the things we talked over. So tommorrow this will be

written on the admission permission form.

It was decided that only a small amount of tissue will be removed even if the

radiologist uses 3 needles. The way he will do the cut, will look natural

too. So that helped alot, in my decision. If it is cancer and more needs to

be removed he could do it, when he does the lymph nodes, so less tissue is

fine for now, when we are not 100% positive it is cancer. He also gave me

pain medication and I will have it for the operation too.

I am definately looking positive at the whole thing. From the begining, of

all my tests and stuff from my past. I always seem to be wierd and go

against the odds. So that is what I am hoping for. I have had some really

rare things. One, I have a right aortic arch and I am fine, I should have

had stuff wrong with me at birth (rare). Two, I have had an eptopic pregnacy

AFTER I had my tubal ligation (with the tubes clipped 1/4 inch and tied twice

at both ends) 1 in 999,999,999 chance. I tested negative/positive for the

IGG/IGA test (I can't remember what it was called) 1% of all people who have

this test done, get this result; you get the idea....I go against the odds

naturally...so I am looking for that here. LOL

Sooooo wish me luck!!!

I will post tommorrow night or my hubby will post here at graves_support

tommorrow to let you all know how it went.

Thank you everyone for all your prayers and support!!! It means soooo much

to me!!!
