Peggy, I'm coughing just as much but but

the fever is down.  My ribs and belly muscles hurt like h---from the

coughing!

They did not give me any med to slow the cough because it is bringing

out all the "gunk"

 but I'm going to take some good old Robitussin tonight!Maybe a heating

pad for time before trying to sleep!

The prednisone is getting to me of course, especially in cognitive

issues like memory and reading!

Z. I think I have what you have been dealing with. I found out that I have a virus that is going around. One of my friends told me her adult son (who is in the army) is getting over it and the cough is the last thing to get rid of. His cough is lingering on and on. Plus, he lost his appetite and it hasn't come back yet. My cough has loosen up a lot and I really do sound as if I am "Barking" (that is what Peggy told me today)I suppose my dog Max is letting me do the "barking" for him. I have been on anitbiotics for 48 hrs. I am counting on tomorrow to feel better even though I will still be at home. All I want to do is sleep and I haven't taken any thing for drowsy-ness. Toodles!
