DH works for Cummins who make big diesel engines such as those used in

generators, buses (gas buses particularly) and the new genration of trains

coming on line. DD can name all the types of vehicle on his Cummins mug

(digger, dumper, lorry, bus, coach etc, and can also identify the engine parts

around the bottom of the mug as well as in real life: cylinder head, gudgeon

pin, injector, bearings etc. She also can identify makes of lorry (Foden,

Atkinson etc.), but lags behind on cars (she names the person who has a car like

it as opposed to the manufacturer)

Here's a picture where we caught DD checking out the wheel bearings on DH's part

restored MF 65 MK II.

and here she obviously can't wait to step into Daddys shoes.....
