Guest guest
> Thanks I read it and still found it inconclusive. Wow - well done - I didn't read it, it was just the first thing in the search results which looked like it might be relevant. I'm surprised there isn't more on the net - as I said I'm sure there was something on the news here recently but Aussie news coverage on the net is pretty crap, TBH. And since my own mobile phone usage is about 5 mins/month it's not something I take a great deal of notice of. In fact, out here, my phone usage isn't all that high either! -- Sue VIC 3141
Guest guest
Last time my DH was unwell he phoned me on his mobile from the bedroom to ask me to make him a cup of tea, I suppose this is just the modern equivalent of the bedside bell :-) Cerys Basingstoke www.Basingstokenct.co.uk -----Original Message----- LOL I phone him to wake him up in the mornings, it beats me going upstairs ten times to shake him out of bed. Guest guest
This reminds me of when my sister and I were kids. My dad installed a second door bell with a different ring from the front door. The pusher bit (for my mum) was in the kitchen and the bell bit on the landing outside our bedrooms - she got so fed up yelling when tea, or whatever, was ready, and us ignoring her, that she used to ring the bell and we had to go out and yell down to find out what she wanted. Worked well at the time. > > And yes, if she's upstairs, I do occasionally phone/text her to let > her > > know tea's ready .... > > Diz Meredith
