Guest guest
Hi , Sounds like your friend is on the ball. I agree with her. It is best to wait till labs before EVER switching our dose about. This will lead to confusion and more down time in the long run in 99.9% of the cases. remember, hyper and hypo symptoms are very much alike. It is different for everyone, and until you have several years into this, you can not judge which they are for SURE. Even then, we still get confused at times and have to run it by the group. = :-o -Pam L- 3 1/2 yr.Graves and TED, PTU, Remission due to education, SLOW reduction of PTU, improved lifestyle, excellent nutrition, herbs, and looking at the BIG picture ! Pills alone only fix symptoms. We must help our bodies to heal.
Guest guest
Hi , You sound hypothyroid, and hypoT raises diastolic blood pressure (the bottom number). While 300 mg is the starting dose for PTU, most everyone can be maintained on 100-150 mg of PTU. Take care, elaine
