Guest guest
Thank you Aldyth! That is so sweet! My family watches the parade on TV, eats too much, guys watch football and NAP, women clean up and gossip in the kitchen! This year it will be different because we are also having a surprise party for my sister's 40th Birthday! So my folks have lots of other festivities planned! Can't wait! Much love,
Guest guest
Hi Aldyth, Thanks for the good wishes. You can join in too you know. Thanksgiving is a day set aside to be thankful. It is a time when we count our blessings and realize how many things we have to be grateful for ,that we overlook such a long list in the normal everyday business of living. Then most people over eat and lay around regretting that last helping of pie they had, and spend the next week trying to figure out how many different ways there are to use up left over turkey. You and I will skip this part. I have some friends that always take me to a wonderful German restaurant ( that cooks everything from scratch and does not use iodized salt or flavorings ! ) , we enjoy our meal together, have another good memory, and let someone else do the cooking and clean up. The only civilized way in my opinion. NO kitchen chores ! Now that is cause for celebration ! -Pam L - who thinks it is perfectly OK to be OT on Thanksgiving :-)
