Guest guest
I had everything all nicely planned for my 4 amalgams to be safely removed coming up on Feb 20. I've been working hard the past 4 months to maintain a yeast-free diet to prepare for chelation (AI style), and doing supplementation. But now I've been battling bronchitis the past 3 weeks. Here are my questions: I don't know if the oregano oil I started taking 3 weeks ago helped with the bronchitis at all, because after 5 days of symptoms, I finally got over it, but now 2 weeks later it's back, along with a sinus infection (I'm about ready to fill the amoxicillin script the " urgent care " doc prescribed. I know you're all cringing, and if I do this, should I postpone my amalgam removal)? But if I postpone it for next month or so, the yeast overgrowth from the antibiotic will have had more of a chance to bother my gut. Should I forget the antibiotics and try more oregano oil or something else? I don't want this to turn into pneumonia though. What else do I need to be concerned about with antibiotics usage along with amalgam removal along with AI-style supps (other than I will have to work harder to kill the yeast and keep the gut as healthy as possible)? I appreciate any input because I reeeeeeally don't know what to do right now (I DON'T want to take the antibiotics and ruin things - but then I don't want to risk getting pneumonia). Thank you,
Guest guest
Well, I don't think I agree that antibiotics will ruin things. There is certainly a time and place for them, and this may well be one of those times. When I have had to take antibiotics before, I have just taken probiotics in parallel, ie, a dose of probiotics with every dose of antibiotics. Also lots of yogurt with live cultures. Some say that you are just wasting your probiotics that way, but I disagree. For me, it seems to be able to stop the antibiotics from causing yeast problems. Well, I don't know whether or not I have a problem with candida, although there is certainly evidence to suggest that everyone with mercury does, but it's not one of the things that is actively problematic for me. However, years ago, before I even had noticeable health problems, antibiotics would always cause a vaginal yeast infection. After starting with the parallel dosing of the probiotics, they no longer do. As far as going forward with the amalgam removal--you have to be able to breathe the alternate oxygen source through your nose. If the bronchitis interferes with this, then you will need to re-schedule. So, that may be an argument in favor of the antibiotics, since 7 days is enough time for them to have a significant effect. The other thing you have to decide--and only you *can* decide--is whether or not you think your immune system can handle the burden of the amalgam removal on top of a month's worth of dealing with bronchitis. Some people can handle it, some can't. So, I guess my advice would be to take the antibiotics with lots of probiotics, keep taking all of the AI supps plus extra Vit C, do all you can to recover from the bronchitis. And then decide about the appointment in 5-6 days (depending on whether or not your dentist requires 24 or 48 hours notice). Also, what are you doing for adrenal support? Sometimes you need to increase that when sick... > > I had everything all nicely planned for my 4 amalgams to be safely > removed coming up on Feb 20. Guest guest
I got really sick two years ago when i was taking multiple doses of antibiotics for lyme and staph infections in my nose (probably from yeast) I had later researched and will try to provide link on articles that said antibiotics can be really harmful for people with heavy metal toxicity..basically heavy metals create a teflon like shell around cells (i am paraphrasing here) and in the cells are the bacteria/parasites that are making us sick.. so not only do the antibiotics not get in, but because they can only do minimal therapeutic value, they also end up creating a more resistant bacteria/parasite in your cell I know I also took 4-5 doses of praziquantel for liver flukes and it is the drug of choice for these parasites and it did nothing but drive them, deeper into my liver. Chelation seems to be dumping them out more than the parasite treatments ever did I think the antibiotics in my case really aggravated and created more yeast/fungus whcih bacteria and parasites love I am not trying to make you nuts by throwing this out, but I feel in my case anyway antibiotics and meds for parasites made me worse due to mercury being in me If it has helped you (antibiotics) in the past maybe you gotta deal with the biggest problem of bronchitis. -- In frequent-dose-chelation , " elizascha " wrote: > > I had everything all nicely planned for my 4 amalgams to be safely > removed coming up on Feb 20. Guest guest
Thank you for this advice. I decided to start the amoxicillin and am taking more probiotics and drinking kefir. I've been taking an adrenal support product called adrenogen. Thank you, > > > > I had everything all nicely planned for my 4 amalgams to be safely > > removed coming up on Feb 20. Guest guest
Thank you, . I'm going to take the antibiotics. It has helped my infections in the past. I haven't been on antibiotics lately though, so we'll see. I've never had any noticeable yeast symptoms from taking them in the past. Will add more probiotics. Just want to clear up this bronchitis and sinus thing. I've been anticipating the amalgam removal for quite some time, and reading here on this group almost daily. I wasn't prepared that I'd be throwing antibiotics into the mix! Will let you know. Thank you, > > I got really sick two years ago when i was taking multiple doses of > antibiotics for lyme and staph infections in my nose (probably from > yeast) > > I had later researched and will try to provide link on articles that > said antibiotics can be really harmful for people with heavy metal > toxicity..basically heavy metals create a teflon like shell around > cells (i am paraphrasing here) and in the cells are the > bacteria/parasites that are making us sick.. > > so not only do the antibiotics not get in, but because they can only > do minimal therapeutic value, they also end up creating a more > resistant bacteria/parasite in your cell > > I know I also took 4-5 doses of praziquantel for liver flukes > and it is the drug of choice for these parasites and it did nothing > but drive them, deeper into my liver.
