I actually possess 4 of her nursing patterns!! i must admit some of them I

wouldn't be seen dead in - but the ones I have are extremely plain and can

be jigged about a bit to be fairly flattering. I got so fed up of trying to

wrestle with sweaters and stuff when i fed joe (another winter baby) that i

quite liked the idea of the sweatshirt with the fake jacket front - might

make some now as I won't have time in january! I just love an excuse to sew

anyway!

I have the full catalogue - do you want to borrow it?

thanks I have it cos I ordered the sling pattern (you are going to

tell me you have that one aren't you!!) IKWYM about some of the

plainer patterns, they look OK....

I used to wear layers with G... fitted tshirt with thick velvety shirt

or a cardigan/jacket over usually and that worked great for winter

feeding! otherwise she cuddled up under my huge fleece!!

Didn;t mean to offend about the patterns its just *some* of them are

soooo gross!!;-)

That's okay - forgot the :)))

Have you seen the ones in her sale area? The yucky ones with

the frilly collars? Bleuch!

Yes I have the sling pattern - I have thousands of patterns - too

many really! A nice lady on uk.rec.sewing has lent me some

maternity ones and I have just ordered a Vogue one (for £11!!!!)

for a maternity ball gown...have to look good for the Ball - just

have to get the energy to sew it all now!

Caroline - is your vogue pattern an empire line dress with short sleeves,

round neck and a kind of mock apron front and back? In white on the pattern

front? If so, I have the dress! Made it for a wedding and wore it once.

If you're interested, lmk what size you are - if it's likely to fit I'll

send it to you - I'm unlikely to wear something so smart again, so you can

have it! It's in a pale blue peach-washed silk.

The way I'm going at the moment the Ball won't be in a marquee as

I'll be wearing it!!! My weight gain from the drugs seems to have

peaked at 13lbs (just the first 12lbs was in 2 weeks) Main problem

is that no-one takes me seriously when I try to explain how the

weight gain is effecting me.

Anyway - maybe I should look at the Maternity patterns instead of

dreaming that I'll get into my dress from last year.

See you in October!!
