RANT vent RANT ugh CANCER SUCKS ( mom)

Ok this is it , AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG

As most know mom has lung cancer , not colon but I need my family here to vent

to.

Mom's first chemo was Tuesday , she has been sick since Thursday , I mean

sick , severe body pains, constipation for a day now severe diarrhea for 3 days.

nothing we seem to be doing is working , she is extremely weak , she looks like

she has aged 20yrs in 3 days .

I dont know what to do !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

She lays in bed and cries with pain/ over all not feeling good. Mom doesnt cry

from pain!

When I asked her if there was ANYTHING I can do for her , she said she wanted

dad , so I went downstairs to get him , he came up and I heard her saying to him

that she was soooo sick (crying ) , to which he replied , I know your sick , but

I cant keep running up and down the stairs for you to tell me that

#$###@$ WHAT A JERK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

maybe if he would sit upstairs with her she would feel a little better!! but

no he would rather go downstairs where he cant hear

her!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I realize this is hard on him , I really do , but it is sooooooooooooo much

harder on her, the LEAST HE COULD DO is be there for her

I need to get out of the house !!!!!!!!

I thought I was going to the store today , but Joe decided to take his brother

out for dinner for his birthday , so I am here, feeling USELESS , DONT know what

to do anymore .

Dad just left to go get mom some liquid imodum A.D to see if that helps with

the Diarrhea.

Something has to!! I told Dad if she isnt better in a few hours maybe we

should take her to the hospital , I am seriously worried she is becoming

dehyrdrated

found mets to the abdominal wall lining 3 lymph nodes involved

open wound from infection until Jan 2005

Ileostomy reversal Dec 7th 2004

Chemo regiment begun Jan 2005

5fu/levorican/Oxaplatin/ Avastin added Feb 14 2005 (Happy Valentines

Calcium Magnesium added for the Tingles Feb 28 2005

Ct Scan done March 23rd 2005 , 16 millimeter cyst like object on liver found

April 1 2005 PET scan done awaiting results

April 11 PET SCAN SHOWS

NED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

May 9 Plateletts are low 75,000
