Guest guest
Hi , Welcome. It is slow right now, as most people post on weekdays on this list. You will be getting lots of mail then. Probably too much. LOL... Just pick the ones you are interested in and delete the rest. :-) Do you have a diagnosis of Graves' or other thyroid problems ? Are you being treated yet ? Many of us in this group believe treating the cause of the hyper rather than killing the thyroid is the best long term solution for most people. We do this by using anti thyroid drugs and / or alternatives, up until we go into remission, or possibly stay on this treatment for the rest of our lives. Graves' is caused by antibodies NOT by a problem with the thyroid itself. The antibodies make the thyroid work overtime and give us too much hormone. The drugs get rid of the antibodies. -Pam L- 3 1/2 yr.Graves and TED, PTU, Remission due to education, SLOW reduction of PTU, improved lifestyle, excellent nutrition, herbs, and looking at the BIG picture ! Pills alone only fix symptoms. We must help our bodies to heal.
