I nearly posted a PS when I noticed this but have been too busy today.

The non-preg stuff does look nice and I think I'll give them a try

too.

BTW, did you see the 'Lunatic' knickers? Designed with a red gusset

for that time of the month, 'howl at the moon' I think they call it!

Only MAVA item I have is the body which they don't do any more - a

shame as what else can you get that will hang suspenders without

cutting a flabby post baby body in two. Otherwise there's just too

much synthetic fabric for me to find the others comfortable. I don't

think the Bravado provides a lot of support really. My favourite bras

are an all cotton plain variety from Mothercare, I look much more

attractive without embroidery (hmm, makes it sound as if this is the

CS scar thread!)

I have an underwired US one and I like it (it's pointelle and I don't

usually like that), haven't had any problems from the wiring (though

I think DS2 must have been pushing a year old when I got it) - the

hook fastening can be a bit uncomfortable if I have forgotten to

rehook, that's all. Pre-babies I preferred underwiring. I struggled

for years to find a comfortable bra believing my mother that

underwiring was uncomfortable, so not trying them. Then a friend gave

me her all cotton underwired one and it was bliss. I have just passed

my collection to my mother, realising that I am not actually going to

fit back into them. She tells me she only used 'dedicated' bras for a

short time and was able to use ordinary bras quite satisfactorily for

feeding, but I tried and it didn't work for me.

Have you tried www.mothernature.co.uk?? She seems to do some nice bras and

is stored away in my list of places to go next time (she lives at the bottom

of the field backing onto my garden, too, which is handy!) don't know if

she does underwired - suspect not - but there may be something you haven't

seen before.

No, not generally.

A UK 14 is about an Oz 12, UK16=Oz14 and so on

I've got the measurements from M&S and Myers (big dept store here)

jotted down somewhere to compare them. I can't put them on at the mo

as DD is being a PITA but will email to the list later.
