There are many on this board trying to increase awareness and get people

screened so a polyp is the worst thing that can happen. If more people would

just get checked most if not all colon cancer could be eliminated (no pun

intended LOL)

>>>My friend Mike just joined the group. He just had a polyp removed, along

with a considerable margin of colon. He just found out it was benign, and I am

so proud of him. He told me he did not want to tell the group about the good

news, because we are experiencing so many other issues.>>>>

Welcome Mike! This is wonderful news, and I love wonderful news:)

  • 2 weeks later...

There is way too much sadness on these sights. Good news is more than

welcome. Even though I am new to this site I had colon cancer,

resection, and chemo 8 years ago and now I have recurrent metastatic

colon cancer as a tumor and many small tumors in the lung. I still

like to hear other folks good news.

Thanks Mike

Thanks for the welcome, Len. Sorry to hear you are struggling with the

metastases.

But as I read the stories of people here, I also feel a sense of hope....

Even in the midst of such a struggle, people continue to rally and keep

hope!! I hope you are doing the same!!

I will have to keep an eye on my own situation... but for now I have caught

it at a very early point.

Wishing you strength.... and sending lots of positive thoughts and prayers

your way!

Mike
