Guest guest
Of all the ideas for measuring that I've read about over the last year or so, the one that seemed the best to me was the plan where you take a piece of paper and make equal distant lines on it, enough so that the number of spaces between the lines equals the number of doses you want to get. So four doses would need five lines, etc. Then empty the capsule on the paper and use a razor or knife to get it into an even line crossing over the lines, so it will be completely between the two outermost lines. Then when it was spread out equally, they just took the knife or razor and scraped one " space " worth of powder off and put it in a capsule. I think they scraped it onto a paper that was folded to make it easier to pour into the capsule. When I read that, my idea was to go into Word or Excel or something where I could position the lines and then print the paper, without having to rely on my getting straight/equidistant lines. I think it IS important to try to get your doses as equal as possible, but without scientific equipment I don't think anyone is getting EXACT precision. So just aim for as close as possible and do your best. I've also read that if you put each dose of powder into some other container, and then just dump that container into water/juice/food when it's time to take it, that that's ok. I think one person said they actually just leave the piles on the paper, but I'd be afraid of something happening to it. I plan on getting some of those stacking pill cases and just dump my measured doses into a separate container each, since I'm not sure about getting it into a capsule. That would mean I'd only be able to do 2 capsules at once, or I'd need to buy a lot of stackers, but two at a time is ok with me. > > Thanks for answering. > > You sad: " I can readily imagine having to open the capsules > and measure out the right dose must be annoying " . > That really is the only problem: I am trembling a bit > (my arms/hands are not stable; my vision is not 100%: dizziness), so I cannot > " play " with the capsules.
