Guest guest
Andy does not recommend oral Glutathione but what about an injection of Glutathione? Is it safe? Any side effects? Also, Andy mentions that administration of small doses of IV DMPS is a bit safer than high doses of it. Does anyone know what a small dose of IV DMPS would be? My ND wants me to have several injections of Glutathione, Mag. etc... and of course offered the DMPS by IV. (not sure I will do that-but just wanted to know what is considered a low dosage of it so I can see what the doc is thinking.) I have read Andy's book so many times now, and still feel more at peace with his protocol. I think ALA will ultimately be my choice sometime soon. I just need to streghten my adrenals beforehand and these treatments are supposedly to prepare for chelation and adrenal strenthening-but what the doc doesn't know is that I trust Andy's protocol for safety and effectivenss. Guest guest
I was not aware of Andy saying any IV chelation was ok. As far as I had read, he did not recommend IV's. The chelator needs to be dosed every 8 hours of dmps...are they going to give you an IV every 8 hours for three days? I would seriously avoid any IV's. Try to get him to give your oral dmps..or buy your own dmsa. Both should be dosed by weight.1/8=1/2mg per pound of body weight. Andy does not recommend glutathione at all. If your glutathione is low, you can take oral NAC to help it. What is wrong with oral magnesium? I have heard of IV mag, or C...for some cases, but not essential. Depends on how much $ you have to throw around. I had IV C for amalgam removal and it does pump you up for a few days. But then your back to feeling the same again. The things this ND recommended are not going to strengthen your adrenals for chelation. Likely they will make it worse. IV Chelation alone will make them worse. Adrenal support and liver support would prepare you for chelation...as would getting on the supplements Andy recommends for chelation. This other stuff....sorry, I wouldn't do it if it were me. What he is proposing to do is NOT Andy's protocol at all and as you said...you trust Andy's way. I would stick with your gut. Get some oral dmsa or get him to give your oral dmps. You can do the C if you want, skip the glut. www.dmpsbackfire.com These people also had IV dmps....and did not do well. > > Andy does not recommend oral Glutathione but what about an injection of > Glutathione? Ya know, I feel so alone here on the other side of this computer because my family just doesn't quite get it ya know? I'm not a worst case scenerio and present fine to the outside world I guess, so I went to this new ND in hopes he would be on the same page as Andy and all of you (and me). It's called " second guessing " , but I know do know the truth and it's Andy's protocol. It's just scary sometimes ya know? Please don't hold this recent messsage against me. I appreciate all of you greatly. Sidney >

Ya know, I feel so alone here on the other side of this computer because my family just doesn't quite get it ya know? I'm not a worst case scenerio and present fine to the outside world I guess, ------------Totally understand, and it's hard because I don't think anybody really gets it unless they've been there. That's why these groups are great. Been my lifeline many times. And Andy even says in AI that *the patient is much sicker than they appear*, and I believe that. So just remember Sidney, you're *not alone* when you come here ------------Jackie so I went to this new ND in hopes he would be on the same page as Andy and all of you (and me). -----------Yes, I know that frustration of trying to find a doctor to be on the same page as you and Andy and us here. Been there done that. Finally went to see who Andy recommends, and it's sooooo nice to have someone on the same page! But I don't blame you for trying, but not surprised at what you found either. One DO I went to would have liked to do IV glut on me too, but luckily I lived far away, so I could decline without having to argue with him about it that Andy says no. And I think they make alot of money off of IV treatments, because it keeps you coming back. Better to stick with Andy's protocol, IMO.---------Jackie It's called " second guessing " , but I do know the truth and it's Andy's protocol. It's just scary sometimes ya know? Please don't hold this recent messsage against me. I appreciate all of you greatly. Sidney ------------We know it's scary and nobody is mad at you, was just trying to protect you and others from harmful things. And this is the general rule of thumb, this group, FDC, is supposed to strictly follow and only discuss things pertaining to Cutler's protocol, so that's why she said what she said, because they are not part of the protocol here. AMC and A-M are a little more open forums, to discuss other things outside of Andy's protocol, but you would probably still get the same warnings over there! But I am glad you are smart enough to realize that Andy's protocol is the way to go, and I have to tell you, that after reading his posts for almost three years now, and hearing over and over again people saying *Andy was right*, that I truly believe he is the one person who truly understands this and is the one to follow. So do know that you are in the right place Sidney. I know that I am.--------Jackie >
